Introduction
The CMMI for Services (CMMI-SVC) extends the coverage of the CMMI Product Suite to cover the establishment, management, and delivery of services. Like every CMMI model, CMMI-SVC is a process improvement approach that provides organisations with the essential elements of effective processes (PAs) that can be used to guide improvement across a team, project, division, or an entire organisation.

The CMMI-SVC helps to set process improvement goals and priorities, provide guidance for quality processes, and provide a point of reference for appraising current processes.
If your organisation has on-going relationships governed by agreements or delivers its products through the operation of a service system then CMMI-SVC can help you improve your process and performance.

Course Overview
This 1 day course is for those people that have attended the Introduction to CMMI for Development course and is intended to leverage your existing knowledge of CMMI to understand CMMI for Services.

Our instructors will adapt the course material and learning techniques to meet the needs of the participants. Using their practical experience of planning, managing and delivering services they will help the attendees to think about the model in their own ‘real-world’ situations. The course consists of:
CMMI Training and Consultancy Providers   A short video introducing you to CMMI-SVC,
CMMI Training and Consultancy Providers   Lectures,
CMMI Training and Consultancy Providers   Exercises,
CMMI Training and Consultancy Providers   Discussions.

Attendees must have previously completed the Introduction to CMMI  v1.2 or v1.3 course or the Introduction to CMMI v1.1 and the CMMI v1.2 Upgrade Training courses.
