| About the CMMI Technical Reference
|The CMMI® (Capability Maturity Model® Integration)
is a process improvement approach that provides organizations with the
essential elements of effective processes that ultimately improve their
performance. CMMI® can be used to guide process improvement across a
project, a division, or an entire organization. It helps integrate
traditionally separate organizational functions, set process improvement
goals and priorities, provide guidance for quality processes, and
provide a point of reference for appraising current processes.
CMMI® models are collections of best practices that help organizations to improve their processes. These models are developed by product teams with members from industry, government, and the Software Engineering Institute (SEI).
CMMI® V1.3 is the most recent version of CMMI®, which was released November 1, 2010.
Trinity Management Consultants’ online CMMI Technical Reference is an amalgamation of the Software Engineering Institute’s Technical Reports; CMMI® for Acquisition Version 1.3, CMMI® for Development Version 1.3, and CMMI® for Services Version 1.3, into an easy to navigate miniweb.
The content on this miniweb is taken verbatim from the technical references and is used with permission from the Software Engineering Institute, see our Copyright and Usage Statement. More information about the CMMI® and its use can be found on our main website www.trinity-cmmi.co.uk.
Trinity is an active member of the SEI Partner Network, an elite group of SEI trained organisations on the leading edge of software engineering processes and technologies. SEI Partners are companies and organisations selected, trained, and licensed by the SEI to deliver authentic SEI services. Through SEI-Certified individuals such as instructors, appraisers, and evaluators, SEI Partners offer courses and other SEI services, extending the SEI’s reach to the entire world. As an SEI Partner we are licensed to deliver SEI services in all aspects of the Capability Maturity Model Integration and Software Measurement Product Suites.
The SEI carefully selects and monitors its Partners so that when you receive services from Trinity, you can be sure that the quality of those services is comparable to the quality you would get from the SEI itself. The SEI require all organisations and individuals who provide SEI services to agree to uphold the standards outlined in their Code of Professional Conduct for SEI Services (CoPC) by acting with honesty, integrity, and fairness, and without actual or apparent conflict of interest.
More information about the SEI Partner Network can be found at www.sei.cmu.edu/partners or by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org. Confirmation of our SEI Partnership and our consultant’s qualifications can be viewed on the SEI’s partner database at www.sei.cmu.edu/partners/trinity-cmmi
